چکیده
Two nutrient–phytoplankton–zooplankton (NZP) models for a closed ecosystem that incorporates delay in nutrient recycling, obtained using the gamma distribution function with one or two degrees of freedom, are analysed. The described by systems ordinary differential equations four and five dimensions. purpose this study is to investigate how mean total nutrients affect stability equilibrium solutions. Local theory bifurcation used determine long-time dynamics models. It found both exhibit comparable qualitative dynamics. There maximum three points each models, at most them locally asymptotically stable. change from another takes place through transcritical bifurcation. In some hypotheses on functional response, loses via supercritical Hopf bifurcation, causing apparition stable limit cycle. way which results consistent prior research they extend discussed. Finally, various application-related consequences theoretical deduced.

Stability in chemostat equations with delayed nutrient recycling.
The growth of a species feeding on a limiting nutrient supplied at a constant rate is modelled by chemostat-type equations with a general nutrient uptake function and delayed nutrient recycling. Conditions for boundedness of the solutions and the existence of non-negative equilibria are given for the integrodifferential equations with distributed time lags. When the time lags are neglected cond...
متن کاملA closed NPZ model with delayed nutrient recycling.
We consider a closed Nutrient-Phytoplankton-Zooplankton (NPZ) model that allows for a delay in the nutrient recycling. A delay-dependent conservation law allows us to quantify the total biomass in the system. With this, we can investigate how a planktonic ecosystem is affected by the quantity of biomass it contains and by the properties of the delay distribution. The quantity of biomass and the...

Global stability and bifurcations in a delayed discrete population model
We consider a family of difference equations used in population dynamics. First we recall the most relevant results concerning the global stability of the positive equilibrium. Then, using the survival rate as a parameter, we investigate the changes in the dynamics when it ranges between zero (semelparous populations) and one. متن کاملGlobal stability in chemostat-type plankton models with delayed nutrient recycling
In this paper, we consider chemostat-type plankton models in which plankton feeds on a limiting nutrient and the nutrient is supplied at a constant rate and is partially recycled after the death of plankton by bacterial decomposition. We use a distributed delay to describe nutrient recycling and a discrete delay to model the planktonic growth response to nutrient uptake. When one or both delays...
